Some helpful tips on how to speed up the grade passback sync with PowerTeacherPro.
Tips for Successful Canvas Grade Back
• Everyone must import the grading categories, even if you already have created them earlier in the course. PTP will only accept data from the imported categories.
• If the import of categories is not successful, go to PTP and open Categories under Grades to ensure they are all there for all of your courses (they will be there, but this sometimes triggers the sync)
• You can check the status of the sync under Monitoring and Reporting. If you see a green check, all is well and grades have been sent to PTP. If you see an error, click on it to make adjustments accordingly (typically it's an assignment category error). If you don't understand the error, complete a Canvas ticket or do the online support, and they will work through it with you.
