        Leadership

Everyone possesses the capacity for leadership, but only those who cultivate it will ever become truly effective leaders. Leadership encourages them to take these concepts and to apply them to personal, professional and the community at large. Advanced Thinking Skills develops a specific set of intellectual skills, independent of subject content, reflecting the need voiced by universities and employers for more mature and sophisticated ways of thinking. The Thinking Skills syllabus also enables students to approach their other subjects with an improved ability to understand, analyse and resolve problems by encouraging free and open debate, critical and investigative thinking, and informed and disciplined reasoning. This course will help to encourage students to develop the leader within — to become an active participant in shaping their future and the future of others.
